You should check it out. It's a sci-fi exploration of a future in which technology and human wickedness collide. Hence the term "black" mirror. It's dystopian nightmare stuff mostly. Very well written, and not every episode paints a doomsday scenario, although most do.

Season 4 had some really good episodes but overall was the weakest season yet IMO. USS Callister, Hang the DJ and Black Museum are all great. Crocodile was kind of ridiculous. Arkangel is flat out terrible. And I could take or leave Metalhead.

My favorite episode is still San Junipero and Nosedive second. And no episode has fricked me up quite like White Bear. I was shook after that one.

All good episodes. And I agree with you about the ones that weren't as strong.

Although I would put Hang the DJ slightly ahead of San Junipero. Both were beautiful.

White Bear is twisted as frick, but very well done.

Hang the DJ gave you the more satisfying twist at the very end, but San Junipero was the story I enjoyed more. Both are excellent, and not depressing lol

I actually kinda liked Crocodile. I mean, I agree it was ridiculous, but I think it was kinda neat as an exploration of human nature.

The woman initially wants to turn herself in for her part in a murder, but then once she has something to lose she will stop at nothing to cover her tracks. Again it is rooted in greed. Somehow, when we have money, we are willing to stop at nothing to keep it.

And that becomes tricky indeed when you live in a surveillance state.
