I think within 25-50 years we will have the answers. So if you watch your conspicuous consumption of pork products you should be around. Now, if you have the ability to accept those answers is another questions.
Humanity is in a position to make revolutionary discoveries and advancements both of the macro and the quantum scale. It wouldn't surprise me if we would be able to detect the transmission you mentioned earlier or some other indicator.
