I do think, however, if we just referred to ourselves as American Nationals we'd fix it, as said above.

Gotcha. Just sounded over the top at first.

I've also heard of Usonian, which I actually like.

I haven't heard that one. What does it mean/refer to?

I read this in your "ask an american living in mexico..." thread and found it very interesting.

I read the article posted earlier about what a Japanese citizen should know before visiting the US.

What sort of things do you think a mexican citzien would need to know before visiting (or just "moving" here via the rio grande)?

Firstly thanks a lot man, I was glad to answer questions there and glad to receive more.

To the point: I would, personally, not enter America illegally. I did it here in Mexico (Entered legally, stayed illegally) and it's specifically because the Mexican government isn't very interested or concerned with illegal immigrants.

America on the other hand: If you don't commit -any crimes- you'll by and large be okay.

A. Make sure you have a job before you leave.

B. Make sure you know the language -- I didn't but I have a thirst for knowledge and so I understand almost everything and can articulate enough to get me by. (Me das una hamburguesa. :3)

C. Don't be a woman. I may resurrect that old thread to talk about some seldom touched subjects about that terrible road to America and what people are willing to do.

I'm not saying this to be disparaging to women, by the way. It's just that if any woman asked me if I could take them across the border, I'd tell 'em no every time. Some pretty terrible things have happened.
