So 5th, or anyone, what can you tell me about these guys, or any others coming in 2016-2017?

I know virtually nothing of Diaz or Jiovenetta...The South is about as desolate in terms of talent in wrestling as a desert. Occasionally there is an exception, but there aren't a whole lot there.

Marriot and Hosford are from Park Hill (KC). Very good program in MO.

Hosford was a 2X state champ on the fast track to 4...but battled injuries and didn't even medal last season. That can destroy a kids confidence, and confidence is huge.

Marriot comes from a very good wrestling family. Won his first title last season. His brother wrestled at Excelsior Springs...but Canten is at Park Hill. Likely a sports move to get in a better room (HS recruiting, whoo). He beat current Mizzou freshman and McCormick brother, Keegan in the state tournament last season.

These two guys, just have to wait and see how they progress.

But easily the gem of the class is Wyatt Koelling. 2X Triple Crown winner in Utah. (Freestyle, Folkstyle, Greco). 3X Fargo finalist. Turned some heads at Reno Nationals. Wrestling 182/190 range now in HS...but looks small for that.

Marriott is in the 152/160 range and will likely be around there, pehaps a bit bigger in college...but not too much, just going off how big is dad and brother are. Hosford was supposedly around 145 wrestling up to 160 at the end of last season after his broken leg....but I can't confirm that. He was at 106, 120, in the two years before that...so who knows how much more growing he has to do.

Jiovenetta is a Heavyweight. Diaz is wrestling at 220...but like I said..I know nothing on these guys...which if they had any sort of national cred, I would.

Side Note: Koelling and current heralded Frosh Dylan Wisman have mutiple common opponents, although I'm not sure if they have wrestled before.

Seems like they had a focus on the upper weights.

Yup. The Freshman were in action at the UCM open this weekend. Againstly D2 and NAIA schools. Some good results, but a few disappointing ones too.

Romero dropping a match was a bit concerning...but Roark won pretty easily.

Sure thing. Here is the Brackets from the Tournament

and the Mizzou release

UNA or whatever it says means unattached...basically redshirts can wrestle and keep eligibility if they wrestle as an individual at open tournaments.
