Winning the turnover battle kept us in the game

I’ve been complaining for years that we were trying to be too clever on defense and not causing turnovers. Specifically, causing fumbles(interceptions need a bit of poor play from the opposing qb that you can’t rely on). Steck knew his defenses were undermanned compared to the opposition, so he had them create turnovers. Wilks seems to know it too. I love the turnover ratio right now especially if we don’t have the personnel to match up. This team reminds me of the 2013 team. There is hope.

Turnovers are nice but this team is nowhere near the 13 team lol

That team had NFL talent littered on both lines.

Better at every position besides maybe DB and Kicker

I said reminds me of the 2013 team. Like Lenny Kravitz reminds me of Led Zepplin but they are definitely not the same.

The 2013 D was nowhere as good as the 2014 D and 2013 used turnovers to mask their shortcomings.
