The ovation for them at the football game yesterday was fantastic.

I still don't know how we aren't #1.

Pla IUPUI on Friday and if win, play winner of Purdue/Central Arkansas. Both of those games are in COMO. Win those 2 games and go to Champaign.

Now the bullshite part if you ask me. Illinois is in our bracket and we'd be playing them in Champaign should both make it that far. How in the hell did they earn that advantage?

Also, get to the round after that and we have to play Florida yet again. 3rd time in one year??? That's always tough to do.

Personally think Mizzou got kind of screwed with it all but oh well. Just beat them on the court and it all doesn't matter.

So let me get this straight... On Satuday we have Women's Volleyball, UCLA vs Mizzou in College Basketball, AND Auburn vs Mizzou for the SEC Title in Football?

What a great day! Time to restock the fridge!

Our schedule simply was not good. We should have been #3 though.

MU, UF, UK, UGA, A&M, LSU, Arky and Bama also made it.

Both games on CBS.... basketball game 1st, then some pregame show, then Mizzou football. How cool is that for an athletic dept to have both basketball and football programs on back to back on national TV

And for whatever it's worth, the WBB team plays Saturday too.

Because we are Mizzou.
They only accepted us into the conference because our GPA and graduation rate brings up the entire conference's average.
The other teams we player were decimated by injuries.
It was a down year.
We couldn't have been successful in another conference.
We had a weak schedule.
We're yankees.
Their women are prettier/dress better.
We have more metrosexuals.
God cheated.
We used too much pine tar.

We are Mizzou.

Channeling my best Ron Burgandy voice:
Wait. Women play basketball? Like on a court? On front of people?
No. You are mistaken.
Women don't play basketball. That's some kind of joke.

The above is a joke. I support women's basketball. I was at SMS during the glory days of Cheryl Burnett and Jackie Styles. Both are wonderful ladies.
