The fact this is a misdemeanor charge means the door is potentially open for Williams to return to the #Mizzou football team. That has not happened yet but I would advise staying tuned between now and the start of fall camp.

Mizzou's Tre Williams pleads guilty to reduced charge

Well I hope the young man learned a lesson and maybe his life is straightened out now.

I still think he will have to go into Barry's office and explain a few things.

Maybe.....I have mixed feelings about him having to tell BO what happened. I'm good with him having to stand in front of the team and say he fricked up and is willing to work his way back.

I'd be satisfied with him not playing another down for Mizzou. No bigger pussy in the world than one who assaults a woman. If I remember correctly, weren't the claims supported by bruising around her neck or something?

If he plays, then he plays and I'll hope he does awesome for Mizzou and never gets drafted. I won't shed tears if he plays but I sure as shite ain't wishing him well. Good luck in life dude.

If I'm thinking of the wrong incident and these were trumped up charges (which they're not or he wouldn't plead guilty to anything) then my bad.

Not saying you’re wrong, but it’s been well documented that many innocent people will plea bargain to avoid the possibility of a wrongful conviction.

False confessions, etc

I’m not sure what exactly happened. Maybe it will come out eventually

I get it. But correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the incident where there was some physical evidence (bruising or something?) that supported the allegations?

I honestly don’t remember. If he gets reinstated then I’ll make a judgment
