I know we still have meaningful football left and it's been only a few games against lesser talent, but was wondering everyone's thoughts on Jank.

I always thought he shot fairly well and was really athletic for someone 6' 11" or whatever he is. He's a sophmore now and not getting any significant time and not really contributing. I thought he'd create mismatch problems for other teams, but is it working just the opposite? Is he too slow for the position he wants to play?

I really think Mizzou would benefit from looking at what SLU did with Rob Loe. Loe wasn't quite as athletic as Jank, but came in primarily as an outside player. SLU rarely played him in that role. They worked him into a post player that could go outside and shoot. They really need to do the same with Jank because he's contributing nothing being an outside guy that rarely goes inside.

He reminds me of Mehment Okur who use to play on the Jazz. Shots a good long ball for a big man, but isn't much of a presence down low.

I was hoping we would see a boost to his game as a soph but other than being stronger he still is inconsistent. Fouls too much, prone to turn overs. He can make some spectacular plays and shoot the rock.

I've been at the first couple of home games and really haven't seen anything new that he didn't bring to the table last year. He is a great shooter and got to the bucket a few times from the perimeter, but other than that he still looks the same as last season.
