South Carolina preview

They obviously lost a ton from their Final 4 run last year and have struggled a bit to open the season. 9-4 and have lost 2 of their last 3 including the conference opener to Ole Miss.
They only turned OM over 8 times in the loss, and that seems to be our biggest weakness. They don't seem to be a team that creates alot of pressure, but Frank Martin teams are usually good on defense. They have two players averaging in double digits. JR Chris Silva, he's also averaging 8 boards per game and gets to the line 8 times per game (outstanding). Will be a good test for our bigs. SR Frank Booker is a 6'4" G who has transferred in. He's shot the ball very well this year and looks to be their biggest threat from the perimeter.
This is a game we certainly need to win, and we look to have the more talented team. However, we have lost every game vs P5 competition this year and this is on the road. Will be tough.

If Barnett and Robertson shoot well and they don't put a lot of pressure on us then yeah...we should win the game I would think

I think we win this game. The 3 things I worry about....1 rust. Haven’t played for 10 days or so. 2....shooting the 3 ball. Long layoffs aren’t good for shooting touch, especially on the road. 3. Ball handling by our guards. This will be a concern every game from here on out.
