For the SECCG, I really really really want the black matte yellow tiger head helmet and anthracite pants. Those are the uniforms we wore last year against SCAR (our only other game on CBS). They are the best combo for the away jersey. But I think we are going with the standard helmet. All I know is we better not be wearing the chrome helmets. By the way, you never know.... Nike could be making special uniforms. Right now, Pinkel has two outfits selected on mannequins, and the seniors are choosing which of the two we will be wearing this saturday. My guess is that Nike told which two they could wear and the seniors pick since that is tradition. Auburn is Under Armour, so this might be a chance to make a very bold statement for Mizzou and Nike.

I'm personally not a fan of the "bold statements" in college football uniforms. Call me old fashioned, whatever. I like classic uniforms, not the gimmicky ones.

I seriously love Auburns uniforms. Classic, modern, and fresh. I said that if we made it to the SECCG, I wanted Auburn/Bama to wear dark and for us to wear white. (This was before i knew that the home team switches every year) It just so happened to work out for me.

And yeah, I was at the IU game and I loved them. I guess I wouldnt mind them, but I feel like chrome helmets in the SECCG is not the way to go.

And those boys LOVE the matte black helmets with the chrome face mask.

I know it won't happen, but the Beast Mode Uniforms are still my favorite...ZouKC's one above is my second favorite and by far my favorite combination of the new ones. Anyone know who the home team is for this one?

Auburn is the home team and will wear dark. That is all that has been confirmed as of now. And I was at the game with the Beast Mode Jerseys too

I think our uniforms are the reason I dislike the gimmicky uniforms. CFB is NOT a fashion show! Correct. Since it's an odd numbered year, the West is the home team, so we'll be wearing blue. Interesting fact for ya: as of the 2012 contest, the designated "home" team is 12–9 overall in SEC championship games.

Since we're the visiting team, we have to have white jerseys, as I understand it. So, we could go all whites, white with anthracite pants, white with gold pants, etc.

By the way guys... Kony Ealy tweeted some pictures behind the scenes of the CBS photo shoot. All players were wearing white, but Golden was wearing black pants, DGB wearing white, and Ealy was wearing GOLD pants. Mizzou will seriously not give us any hopes of a sneak peek.

I would agree with this. I'm not sure how the white jerseys would look with gold pants. I know it's an option, and I like the gold pants - but with white jerseys? Hmmm....
