FlyAU you realize you can never go back to your home town because you liked something those Damn Yankees had.
Missouri is more Southern than people want to give it credit for. Yes it gets brutally cold in the winter but there are some great "Southern" things to do and visit in Home of Josey Wales !!!

LOL.....I was there in August sunlight and felt the same way. New construction was still happening around entrance and it was very confusing. But definitely worth the trip. Also there is a golf cart ride (you go on your own) where you follow trail down through canyon with incredible waterfalls in multiple places along with cave passage. Although they have done a fantastic job making it all seem natural....not so. You can take as long as you want, but normal trip is about 45 minutes.
