Up 2-0 now. Lee looking solid. Much better than last appearance.

De Oca still with a 0.00 ERA and strike outs against 100% of batters faced.

Bats are just meh. Cold night at the park though so I'll give them that.

Watched a bit. Bats are definitely going to have to pick up in conference play.

Should be rocking this kid.

Yepp. If we're going to actually make the NCAA tourney this year our best hitters can't be 3 new guys, with 2 being true freshmen and a JUCO transfer.

Doherty article. The idea of playing 2 sports is great in concept but near impossible in reality. He'll never improve the point or show the coaches enough in football if he doesn't commit to the spring practice schedule. He'll never improve from 0 for 4 with 3 strike outs in baseball if he continues to miss workouts in the fall in baseball. He's got to cut bait with one or the other.

And 5 seconds later another. Nope. No one talked baseball last year. Damn fair weather fans.
