I agree. We are starting to let too many people in. The ones we have now are fine, but it is enough.

I had a thread with 2 requests that is down the page a bit. So I'm adding them here. These two people would like access, and seemed to have support from most.
TReyWi - Alabama poster, has Missouri ties and thinks we're a great addition to the SEC. Lots of football and recruiting knowledge.
WAREAGLE2004 - Auburn poster, came to us in last year's fan draft. He's a good guy, and likes Missouri.
I think these would be good additions - we have no other posters from either of these schools, and they are not flamers at all. I'm for letting them both in. As long as posters from other fan bases are respectful and legitimately want to talk about Missouri sports, I don't have a problem.

I'm easy. I can go any which way, as long as they're not flaming. I wouldn't mind letting at least one in from each of the different schools personally. I like the insight from other schools. Maybe enough Arky's for now????

I actually like the perspective of fans from other schools. And if they add to the conversation, I'm all for it. I think they could be very insightful, especially in recruiting issues. I'd like to see our board become more active.

I agree. I like the Arky posters that have been discussed, and personally I don't mind opening it up to anyone who doesn't flame, but I think we already have a couple of Arky posters, so maybe fresh blood from other schools might be the place to start?

Again, I agree completely, Reedus. I usually find myself agreeing with you!

I still vote no.
Like I said before, it's nothing personal to any specific poster mentioned but there was a reason the boards were made for particular schools in the first place and even if there is no "flamming" its nice to have a place here just for us to vent,celebrate and fight amongst ourselves in good times and bad.
Looking around the other teams boards during the season last year we were one of the most active and we have already added quite a few new faces so I think we should wait and see how things go once the season gets rolling.
Just my humble opinion to do with what you will.

I think the only board we are more active than are the UF, Vandy, UK and at times UT boards. UGA, USC, Bama, Aub, OM, MSU, Arky and A&M are all busier than ours(and obviously LSU). Having said that, I don't want it busy strictly with outsiders. How about we start an official vote thread for TRey and WarTiger so it's set apart from all our other thoughts on the issue in general?

Based on the responses so far, I've requested they be added. We will wait a while before adding any others. I agree we should be selective about who we add, and make sure they have something to contribute.

I disagree reedus. I looked at them towards the middle of the season and was kind of shocked how active this board was comparatively. USC and Ole Miss were lower. Very similar to Aub and MSU.
I think its silly to let everyone in cause they are "friendly". We have the SECOT and SECr to bullshite with folks and friends from other teams and the recruiting board to share information.

IMO, this board will attract more Mizzou fans as time goes by. You have good posters and the other Mizzou boards I've seen are not as good as what you have created. You'll gain momentum and maintain your core identity.

I hear ya, but it's difficult to hold a conversation with anyone on the rant without the the flamers/trolls piping in as well. Regardless, I'm good with taking it slow as to outsiders. Like I said, I'm easy either which way.

That's exactly how I feel too. I love when Cheshire or Dallasga chimes in on recruiting, or when TBird or Bayou stops by with a comment. I appreciate the different viewpoints.

Until Tigerboard makes format improvements I could give a rip about "hurting" it. I wish we had a high level of activity with this much better UI.
