It's another reason you will likely see Texas/OU block expansion, it keeps it easier to dissolve in the future.

Yeah. Baylor feels like a flash in the pan. Briles has made that program. I'm not sure there's a definite sustainability to their football success. And they don't have the alumni base or fan support to force cable companies to pay instate dollars for ACC games in Texas.
They're good but way over rated. They'd barely finish above Arkansas in the West and probably 3rd in the east. They just don't play defense over there and they're not used to having to play a team with defense.
