If James Franklin shows up to play we will beat Tennessee and Syracuse, Neyland won't be that daunting with only 55,000 fans. We can beat Texas A&M too. I see at least 2 wins still so we will be bowling this season it will just be in the Independence Bowl again
I pretty much agree with you, except for beating A&M - we could beat them, but they're awfully good this year. I think it's far more likely we'll beat Tennessee and Syracuse, but nothing is certain.
The fact that they brought Berk in on the short yardage situations (which is a Franklin strength when he's healthy) said a lot to me. He's still not 100% from the shoulder. The banged up knee would affect his ability to run the ball, especially in short yardage plays where you know he's gonna get hit. And he has to plant his right foot to make throws, putting torque on that knee. I hope that was the issue with his accuracy today.
The other thing that worried me was Matter's tweet after the game that he'd never seen James Franklin so despondent after a game. He was absolutely devastated. I hope a week of building confidence in practice, and realizing the defense he faces next weekend is no where close to Florida's caliber, will make next Saturday a different story.

He should be devastated after a POS performance he put on. I understand he has been injured throughout the season, but please save me the "rusty" and "not 100%" excuses we have allowed him to hide under. There was several key points in the game where he could of came through, and some should of been easy throws regardless, when you are an experienced QB like he is.
He has played scared all damn season. Yost and his shitty play calling hasn't helped him much, but yesterday was his opportunity to come through and salvage the season. He played ok in spurts, but when we could of took control of this game, he fricked up each and every time.
This game was so winnable, and could be our last chance to of won in the swamp for quite some time, plus get our season back on track. That's what pisses me off so much about him, he couldn't come through one damn time when he was needed. I'm so tired of Mizzou being the butt end of so many jokes over the years, and Mr Franklin could of stopped it temporarily.
He has 3 games left to prove his critics wrong now. He should take this very personal, not only for the program but for himself. His confidence is shot and it's time for him to be a man, dig deep inside himself and play to his talent level. He showed us last year he is much better than this. There comes a time in a young mans life when you have to stare down your fears, disappointments and shortcomings and prove something to yourself. This is his time...
