So in orther word no excuses to lose to other teams that have better players on their own team? Drinkiwtz is also new to the SEC and only been a HC for 3 years 2 at Mizzou. Like I said he is building the program. Look at Kentucky. That is what I am looking at his slowly winning games and is slowly recruiting better players. Drinkwitz is out recruiting Stoops even he has more HC experience. That is a good sign for Mizzou and knowing Drinkwitz is ahead of what Stoops has done at Kentucky. Let wait until he gets his 4* and 5* players on the field at the same time and I would say 2023 is best bet to see a much improved team from this year. If not then I would be worried.
Another HC you should take notice that didn't do much and wasn't recruiting as good as Drinkwitz is doing in a short time. Jim Harbaugh at Michigan. Now you tell me! Michigan didn't have really bad recruiting classes like Mizzou did when Odom was the HC. There is a reason Mizzou wasn't able to compete! Not the HC fault for players that were recruited by Odom. Yes there are some good ones but accross the whole roster it isn't going to cut for any HC! Need to rebuilt the roster! I remember when Drinkwitz took over the football program when he was just hired, he said somethink like there is no rebuilding needed. Guess what?! He was dead wrong! He is in need to rebuild the roster. It is the only way to get better players that can compete again other teams that Already have better players than Mizzou! Your logis about winning no matter what the roster is like. He is getting that first step done by recruiting 4* and 5* players! Then next step is to get them all on the field with some 3* players and be more competitive in games and should start winning games.
Why can't some of you not get the new HC is doing something he didn't think was needed to rebuild the roster first in order to get better players that aren't on the roster right now? He is wrong saying no rebuild needed. Now we are doing the rebuilding the roster to get SEC type of players to compete against SEC type of players. It is that simple!
