Does anyone know why Dennis was absent, and Gibson was playing in his spot?

Dennis is a shutdown corner, and even though Gibson had an interception he blew a couple of assignments in coverage. Let's hope the coaches are being conservative with Steward early on by limiting his carries because we may need him for a couple of games until Habsborough can get to 100%. Before conference play starts.

KD may have gotten dinged up. He came back in towards the end of the game.

Yea Dennis made one really great play towards the end where he beat Brothers to the tackle, (not easy to do), I also noticed they kind of gave up throwing toward Penton and tried to pick on Gibson.

The fact that they(the DBs) played well enough to force them to try and run it against us, pretty much iced the game. So far the D has been a rock to lean on, but we better find a way not to lean on them throughout the season. We still haven't played anybody of note.
