Doesn't fit into that category.
I'd be shocked to even see someone stabilize a 225 barbell during a curl, let alone 10 sets of 10 reps each.
Also working out at 2 pm, that's brazen and quite respectable. Usually people go prior to work or after, but during the middle of the work day? That's some CEO level shite right there. He could certainly do it.
He was actually making fun of Holliday though and sadly wasn't talking about himself.

Holliday could do it. He's clutch.

Did Holliday get hurt today?
Posted on 5/17/14 at 6:11 pm to Remote Controlled
I don't know if injured but looked hurt after running into the wall chasing down a fly ball that actually barely made the warning track. I exaggerate but yes, he completely misplayed a ball at the wall and went up and over to try to rob a home run and the ball hit the wall 2-3 feet down it.

Holliday is incredibly clutch, if you look at it in terms of him potentially being an implanted spy for every other team we play

Holliday, so clutch, Holliday.
This mother fricker is so damn worthless

Today, the Cardinals purchased the contract of AAA outfielder...
Shane Robinson.
Seriously, wtf? I hate these "pet" players.

Will be interesting to see if Tavares is brought up for interleague play when you can keep him, Craig and Adams' bat in the game at the same time.

Yeah right.
MLB allows Matheny to have 25 players on his roster, yet he insists on using 22 of them.
They sent down a guy the other day that didn't play a lick while he was up.
His managing style has me scratching my head more often than not this season.
I decided on the way to work the other day that they probably should have hired Francona. MM might just be in over his head.
ETA: Butler goes down. He came up for 5 AB's.

We should fire Matheny.

I just don't see how the Cards don't trade an OF and/or pitcher. The Ramsey kid is tearing it up. The Gonzalez kid just got bumped to double A and threw 5 innings, giving up 1 run. He'll be in triple A next year I'm gonna bet. So add another OF and another pitcher that will be part of the logjam in a year.

I'm not saying that.
In the Navy we had guys that worked in the nuclear reactor plant. They were the smartest of the smartest. Had to be, as the level of school they go through for training is intense, physics and math based and moves super fast. Basically about 6 years of college in two years.
Anyway, these dudes were dorky smart, but if you put a real world problem in front of them they would over think it to the point of fricking the problem up even more.
We called this "nuking it".
MM is nuking things a lot more this season, and he nuked the shite out of the WS last year.
TL;DR: Call up Tavares and/or Grichuk and let them play everyday.

I agree with calling up Taveras. I don't understand why this hasn't been done already...

Because were is he going to play??
Are you going to sit Craig on the bench? Adams?
They have to figure out if Craig is going to come around, or if he's declining.
They have to figure out what they have in Adams.
They have to figure out what they have in Bourjos.

This is why I wanted them to get balsy and make a big trade this winter for a legit SS.
You've got to move some of these guys at some point, we're getting close to losing value on guys that previously had greater value.
This is also why I really wish Holliday's contract expired after this year. 2 more years of him being in the way.
Ramsey, Grichuk, Taveras, Piscotty are all guys I want to keep.

The million dollar question.
That foot injury was bad last year.
Seems like it might still be an issue.
I get why he isn't up yet, but It's nearing time to shot or get off the pot. This merry go round shite serves no one.

It is getting close to that time where decisions have to be made, they've waited this out about as long as they can.
Ramsey is in AA, he should be in AAA or the majors. Guy is 24.
Grichuk should probably be in the majors, same with Taveras, and Piscotty is right there.
The front office needs to get some balls and start making decisions. It's nice to be able to wait and wait to make sure you make the right decision, but with that comes inherent risks. A player may lose value or flatline in their development if you wait too long.
