Good! Let them alienate him! We'll welcome him with open arms!!
ETA - It's about what he wants, really. At tOSU, he'll be one of the team, a cog in Urban's wheel. At Mizzou, he'll be treated like a star. I think we truly appreciate our players, especially those true sons who stay home to play for Mizzou. Plus, there's the emotional connection of playing for his dad's alma mater.
He'd be much more important to our program than to tOSU. Stay Home, EZE!!

I totally agree I have always wanted this kid at MIZZOU. Just cant imagine the pressure thats on these kids

I watched some videos of Basett on I huddle. Don't know what size school he played for but looks pretty freakin impressive to me on off & def especially for a 6'4" kid

So there are a lot of rumors about is this a courtesy visit or not. He said it was out of respect to his parents to OSU last night, however I dont think many believe that. I have heard on PowerMizzou that this is all Ezekiel's idea to visit and his parents never had anything to do with it. This would support that.

I tried to go back and find it but couldn't so maybe I'm dreaming it up in my mind, but I thought at one point there was talk about Ezekiel taking an OV to Mizzou and the word was Urban put a nix on it threatening to pull his offer. Obviously he still made numerous unofficial visits but if true, maybe Ezekiel just outplayed Urban by waiting until it was too late to pull the offer to schedule his OV. I'm sure Mizzou also pushed for it to be the last weekend too, much like the DGB treatment.
