Coming into the season I took the bait and went all in on this team. The way we lost games in the Cent. Ark, LSU, and UK series sheered my wool pretty good. Hopefully my lowered expectations will be what turns this team around..

We ride so high, it's true. The fall sucks sooooo bad. Then we subject ourselves to the rant and get ate alive.

This weekend we will defy the odds and produce some wins. Gotta get off the bottom of the rankings in the SEC West.

I'm still 100% all-in here. We started 5-10 last year in conference -- and finished 11-4. We go 16-14 in conference this year with our schedule and win the next 2 midweeks, we are almost a lock to host, with an RPI right around the top 10.
Arky can't hit. As long as we throw strikes and don't beat ourselves on the hill, we'll have an excellent chance here.
MVSU's ERA is almost 10 -- they are literally the 2nd worst pitching team in D1 -- and Arky managed to put up a total of 8 against them in two games this midweek.
Plus, we've got a history of hitting their "ace" pitchers really well. Knocked Baxendale off the hill in the series and Stanek off the hill in the tournament last year.
