Draconians troll thread has taken all my attention. I was actually reading a book and got sucked in to this damn place.

Lol no. I'm re reading "A Storm of Swords". I got through about a 1/3 of the way through the 4th book and gave way to fatigue.

I read the first 3 in a month FWIW. Just wanted to to redo the 3rd before I plow through 4 and 5.

And yes, I realize what you are doing. I've posted here long enough to see through the bullshite.

Feast for Crows is incredibly slow, but you're rewarded when you reach Dance with Dragons.

My favorite fictional book series without a doubt!

Go ahead and ax me if you wish.

I had requested to be on the A&M board also and there are more negatives than positives there as well.

It's interesting because there is nothing negative being posted. Yet we see the visceral reaction.

So this is is request to rescind my request there.

I will only post occasionally on SECrant and will return to the other venues of which eagerly publish my commentary.

The SEC has a great future. Every team in the league has a great future. What is going on in SEC athletics is more about business than about sports. I only tried to share with the group here as to why based on information that I am privy to.

Here's hoping all of you have a great day.

Wow...giving up just like that? Weak son. Weak.

This place isn't for everyone. That's for sure.

It wasn't about being positive/negative. It was about first 6 posts being OP's (some outdated) that was pushing other topics off the first page.

Yeah, pretty much "why is every thought a friggin OP?"

College sports becoming a mercantile affair took off in the 80's with the explosion of cable markets/ESPN. We are now at a point that when Emmert says the NCAA isn't about big business, it's pretty much a national joke.
