I got a trip to Galveston for a dance competition. But I’ve got a 2:00 tee time @ Moody Gardens this afternoon. But because the weather gods are not happy with the golf gods, there’s a 50% chance of rain & 20mph winds.

You’ll need the wind with this heat. I played at bay Forest Wednesday around 2. Played 9 and quit. Had zero breeze that day. Played Thursday and Friday at 8am and it felt good.

It's hot but you aren't going to melt. I just ran 5 miles, I think you can ride in a golf cart

Got the round in with no rain. But 20 mph sustained wind is no fun when your ball is moving on the tee. First round of golf for me in months that the cart was able to leave the path. Plus I was not in the Gulf of Mexico for 2 hours. Not a fan of playing in water & not seeing my feet.
I had never played Moody Gardens, but it’s a fun, links style track. Greens & fairways were in great condition, especially for the number of rounds that place has to get. If you’re in Galveston, I highly recommend playing it.
