If we only ran 6 plays with Toney and those 6 plays are...

shallow drag
outs
slants
jet sweep
bubble screen
wildcat

and we got him 15-20 touches a game. He would average 125-200 yards from scrimmage a game with 2 tds.

I am saying yes.

Gotta have a good mix, I liked how we got him in the game today.

He is so electric. Those 6 plays I listed are the easiest ways to get a WR the football. Just do them out of different looks and formations and that's all the mix you need. Maybe run a go route to freak out a safety every now and then. I mean they are only doing 2 plays with him now. Wildcat and bubble and it freaks the defense out.

I liked the reverse pitch. Creative way to get him the ball on a misdirection. But he is electric. And I love how he doesn’t shy away from contact.

He needs more touches. Period. It’s fricking obvious.

I would literally let him get a quarter vs. Idaho for Quarterback. Even if it's just your Wildcat, let him take it and run some packages for him.

I want Toney touching it 20 times a game.

We have all been saying this since he became a Gator but for some reason the coaches don’t agree.

Wasted thoughts here, Mullen probably has reasons for the number of plays that Toney is involved in. Share thoughts with him.

For the record, I agree he should be more involved. But you guys forget these are college athletes, they must attend classes, get grades and listen to coaches. Has Toney not been all that? I dunno...just pointing out reasons. Does he block for his team mates?

As a fan its easy to scream for a player to get X amount of touches. But as a Coach in the moment of the game, youre calling plays based on the way the defense is playing you, who gets the ball is not as important to you as where you want to attack the defense.
