At the beginning of the season, I thought that there was no way we beat LSU and MSU with Franks as our QB.
There are three questions to ask about Franks IMO.
Has he improved from last year?
Is he Mullen's best option at QB?
Has he helped win 6 games so far?
I think the answer is Yes.
Down 14-19 to LSU on 3rd down, Franks makes a great back shoulder throw to Van Jefferson that beats Greedy Williams and Delpit for a first down. We go down the field and score to take the lead.
Down 13 - 21 to Vandy, Franks leads Jefferson open for a 30 yard TD.
He has made big time plays this year and minimized his frick ups. Look at how far he has come since the spring game.

I guess me getting older I find its a waste of time to bitch about things that arent going to change.
Mullen has clearly hitched his wagon to Franks for this season so like him or not, it is what it is. Next year is a different story, Emory or Jalen could take the spot with strong showings.
Either way, given Mullens track record with QBs, if he says Franks is the best we have then so be it.
So again SADDLE THE FK UP!

Yeah, things you can't change.
Like opinions on a message board. I'm not steadfast in my opinion, I've said multiple times that there are things that Franks does well -- just that those things don't appeal to him.
Dancing to find holes (he's slow), six second reads (needs two, max), throwing intermediate and deep passes (much less of this). He fixes those three things and he's an SEC caliber QB.
You guys like making this personal, I'm talking about stone cold facts, not bashing him, just outlining reasons why he's still not there yet.

Literally could have been winning if not for his interception into quadruple coverage into the end zone by forcing the ball.
In fact, the defense is the one who held LSU when Franks and co. could only muster 19 points at the Swamp.
He was 12/27 for 161 yards and a QB Rating of 38.3, plese, guys.

I swear to God, man, we've had such terrible Quarterback play that when you guys see a slant you get excited.
I literally feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone. I've never seen a QB go 12 - 27 and get credit for winning the game.

With good reason. 
But it's not as personal as you guys want to make it. Just looking at the stats and eye test and will be very glad when he leaves as will most people when we get someone else in there.
