I am really liking the fact that Franks has more options now. He can throw to TEs and he can run to keep defenses honest. Mullen obviously taught him well and he put in time in the weight room and the training table. I didn't want him to start last year because I knew he wasn't ready and was 6''6" 215 at best...his jersey showed how skinny and under developed he was.

He has learned the strategy that Mullen is teaching..move the damn chains. Our offense can only get better. We get through UK & UT then we have a chance in the east.

I have been trying to tell everyone that UGA has lost too much on defense and frosh recruits cant replace experience. I fully expect USC to take them out this weekend. The 3:30 game on CBS will have my attention.

LSU is not the team of years ago...tonights game against Univ of Naw Jersey @ Coral Gables will give us a picture of their offense. Our series with them has always been tight and they got revenge for 2016 last year. Its our turn and Mongo will be on the red hot seat.

Vandy will give us a game in Nashvegas.

Mizzou and USC come to the Swamp.

Idaho will be French fries

The girls school isn't a powerhouse.

Im calling it...10-2 or even 11-1 and not because of last night. I knew our defense would be stout and with an offense capable of scoring points? No reason not to be successful.

UF was missing a lot of guys tonight. We were watching a mixture of first and second team defense most of the night. Cece Jefferson, David Reese, Shawn Davis, Bryan Edwards, Luke Ancrum, and Kyree Campble didn't play, and Jachai Polite

Man, as soon as those guys are ready it's going to be hell for offenses. They had 15 yards the entire half before the end of regulation when the game was already well over.

We can see now why Franks is the starter.

Eh, they were playing with backups. If Franks had that much pressure every down with the center pitching it wildly, he would have probably looked the exact same.

Big difference in starting OL and backup OL, even by those reporting at practice.

Florida still has a long way to go, especially with the running game.

Consider that CSU actually rushed for more yards than Florida did......

222-203.

I mean, scoreboard and all, and yes they were an option team, but still....

Not a good sign.

Yeah, it went the exact opposite way that I thought it would go. I thought for sure that Scarlett would go wild, but I think Perine looked the best with the 1s. He's gotten shiftier, and Pierce from the backups.

However, remember: CSU didn't have a single first down the entire first half, they had 15 yards total until we went 38 - 0. I think we could have easily run up the score, a lot of other teams had their 1's in until late in the third quarter and ours were out beforehand.

The running game must get better, though, by the MSST game.
