Mullen started Franks over Trask.

Before any of you come with the heat: Yeah, I know. Trask injured his foot. I know he might have started earlier. That's fine.

I predicted it years before Trask even started, and even gave the reasons as to why he was a better QB. If I could see that with limited contact, Mullen had to know it. Which means, ultimately:

Mullen's ego to fix Franks and make him into something very nearly cost him his job. Yes. If Franks was our Quarterback for the last two years, full time, Mullen would have been gone this year. Period.

Mullen's alright, he's actually pretty good, but if he can't get out of his own way he'll be gone.
