I've heard from multiple sources that he reached out to Florida, and not vice versa. It's possible, but I'm not sure I believe it. I wouldn't blame him if he did, it's a premier job and if he wants to get back into the coaching game, there can be no better place than Florida to ride the prestige to a couple of title hunts.

May have been Forde or someone on twitter. I believe Chip wants to go to a place where he can draw top talent in state to run his system. Instead of traveling all over the US.
Plus I think he'd like the challenge of going against defenses like LSU,UGA and Bama
