Just an OT question, are you (or anyone on this board) familiar with the alt rock group Silver Sun Pickups?
Their newest CD Better Nature is awesome. Band is from California and been around for 15 yrs and have recorded for 10 yrs or so.
Just curious.. you can look them up on YouTube.

I know something of them for some reason, but I'm not sure why. I think maybe I had a friend that worked with them or something.

They had a single a few years ago that brought them to the mainstream. I think it's called "Lazy Eye"

Better Nature is awesome...every song on that CD is killer imo. Last Dance, Nightlight (the official video is bizzare on YouTube) and a whole lot more.
They are touring Europe this fall and play in St Augustine & Ft Lauderdale this December...hoping somehow they play a date in the Tampa Bay area...afterwards they head to South America.
Their drummer is tight and they put on a real laid back stage presence mixed with energy.
