The NCAA outlawed athletic only dorms years ago to prevent hanky panky and that was the stupidest thing they have done in the last 25 yrs. Coaches could no longer bond as much with players and actually prevent problems.

If they changed that rule...thats great...but I never read about it. This happen also in wake of all the womens equal opportunities and the NCAA just made that law so smaller schools didnt have to shell out the $$. frick them.

Heard this on the Gator country podcast.
"I even had someone tell me that a booster said after the SEC Championship game, “We’ve got to stop this shite, and it lies on our back.” speaking about facilities. Looks like they may have meant it.

His buyout is $6M+ for those keeping track. Nice facility investment. I think these have been in the works since WM was here. Foley just didn't want WM to get the credit imo. Hence the big flip flop by Foley from WMs departure to 2 months later when they announced all the New investment in facilities.

There was things in the works but then 4-8 happened. Remember the original IPF was not a full sized one. 80 yards instead of the 120 yard one that Mac demanded.

I said years ago that Foley was hurting us by not investing in our facilities. Most people scoffed that it wasn't necessary because we were winning Admiral cups or whatever you call it.
