EVERYONE IS FORGETTING ABOUT ANOTHER RB IN THE ROOM

Pretty impressive video clip showing Lingard busting it. I saw a snapshot on another site that had Bowman sleeping in classroom...now, not going to throw him under the bus, as it is unknown if maybe he was busting it too that day and was exhausted. You can see Lingard tossing up in the garbage can at end of clip on You Tube.
That's the beauty of quality depth...guys are going to compete for snaps. EVERYONE IS FORGETTING ABOUT ANOTHER RB IN THE ROOM, all Lingard has to do is master QB protection schemes and route running...clocked several times at 4.27-4.29 which is blazing speed.

High school highlights, shows a skillset catching passes and seems like a good guy. With our RB room so full of talent it's just plain to me that Malik Davis should move to slot receiver.and showcase his talents there...he knows how to break tackles and has sure hands.
Only 1 football to share and hate to see such limited snaps for some of them.

Pierce and wright are both just as capable and probably "all around" better.
hands, pass protection, speed, tackle breakers, route runners.
yes bowman is a beast and can bust off a run but hes not grasping the pass protection aspect, more one dimensional.
which is what Derek henry was.. maybe it would work.. idk
but no matter whos back there, the O-line has to be shuffled in the best order to open up those holes.

Color me as someone who isn't worried about the OL that much, unless the dreaded injury bug hits.
Think we are fine across the board with a starting 7 players. OL love to run block vs pass block since they get the chance to be the aggressors instead of being more passive.

And we got us another DL transfer with Truesdell from AU who has played a lot of snaps the past two years. He's a big un at around 325 lbs. We will sign at least two more Ol imo and add to the depth....but no matter what, Mullen the magician will work the transfer portals next year.

Pierce and Davis were great tonight. Bowman looked explosive just didn’t break loose. Wright looked bigger didn’t he?
I think if Davis is FINALLY back him and Pierce you can’t keep off the field. If he starts struggling to find the hole again and fumbling then Pierce and Bowman for the change of pace is scary. Need some speed to balance out Richardson and Pierce tanking people.
