Eddie was 5/5 on FGs that included two 50-yarders. The dude is something special.

And that missed PAT against LSU was Johnny’s fault, so don’t pin that on Eddie. We still could have won that game - and others - if McElwain had used him more on long kicks instead of going for it on 4th. Randy Shannon knows better and is using him right.

I hope Eddie doesn’t opt for the draft, but I wouldn’t blame him for getting out of this mess. And Johnny is graduating, so he would be losing his bud.

Maybe if we get a new HC with some NFL ties, Eddie will stay so he can get a good recommendation from him to the league’s front offices.

Definitely the best kicker of all time, and it's kind of adorable how he says he didn't know he was able to go to the NFL early. Obviously he knows, by the way.

I was really proud to see him go out there and just knock 'em home.

A real stud kicking and has saved UF's bacon so many times. Anyone heard why he is not kicking touchbacks for the last two games? He's got a much higher trajectory on his kick offs and the opponents are getting pretty good field out of it. It has to be a coaching decision for him to alter his form like this right?

Coaching decision. Randy is trying to pin them back, but is giving up 5 yards by not unleashing the beast.

trying to pin them back,

trying is the operative word here. I don't know the stats but it sure seems like Mizzu and even UAB were starting on the 30 or better on each of these kicks. Why give up 5-10 yards when you don't need to.

Especially since a lot of injuries happen on special teams when guys are flying all over the place.
