You don't understand why a bunch of us are pissed because the $5M a year offensive guru is shitting the bed in his 3rd yr? I'm done with you. You're either a troll or insane.
Did he fumble the ball five times? And you don't think losing our biggest two producers from last year affected the game?
You've no right to call anyone a troll. We lost to a team that was better than us, ranked better than us, and was expected to beat us. They did it by 9, would have been by two or less if not for phantom holding. Rewatch the game.

Straw - everyone with eyes knows Zaire was really bad and shouldn't have been in the game...
Except for McElwain and Nuss. Consider that.
It's a long season, maybe they and the team learn from this. We will see.

The offense was -4 pts on the day.
Idc about the score, its not indicative of the flat out asswhippin we observed.
The oline was took to school, and our guru did little to help them out.
Hell, i coach little kids and we run dbl team blocking playside to give our oline a chance while crab nlocking backside. This shite isnt rocket surgery. You put your players in position to be successful

Well, Del Rio is our #2. I'd say that that is a start. Michigan is taking it to Cincy as well. Too many new positions and changes for us to overcome -- all receivers shifted, running backs doing different jobs and two new quarterbacks.
I still think Del Rio should have started the game, even if he's less mobile. At least he's had real SEC snaps, Zaire won't see the ball for the rest of the year (Toney would be better) and Franks should start from hereon out.
Hopefully they learn, but everything from the past indicates that they will not. That's the glaring problem with McElwain and what I have with him.

He never learns. He's an arrogant arse, but doesn't have the on the field chops to back it up.

It's his fatal flaw in my opinion. So many times we have a better gameplan here on the forum -- and a lot of people will call us armchair quarterbacks etc. etc., but it's just obvious what he needs to do.
Football 101.
He also doesn't explain the whys, which I hate. Everything is misdirection. Nussmeyer should not be handling playcalling -- Cincy has a better gameplan than we did but much less talent. But their offense has moved the ball, and actually scored a touchdown.

It's pretty obvious that if Cinci had Uf's talent they would be beating Michigan right now.

I explained why they wouldn't have mattered.
