But I thought our guys were overrated and out of shape?

The rumors of their deaths are greatly exaggerated.
Just for the nega-cocks out there, the sky isn't falling. We're probably still not as good defensively as we were last year, but we only brought back 5 starters from that team...and we're STILL leading the conference in TFL's and Sacks.

So the real question is this. If numbers don't lie then our defense should according to those numbers be stopping drives and not giving up touchdowns. Would one be correct or incorrect?
Also has anyone else noticed no SEC defense is as solid as it was last year or previously? I cant tell if the Offenses haven't leaped overnight or what.
Statistically even against UGA were racking up numbers but were barely or not winning against quality teams. I almost feel like we need to play like Auburn did when they had Cam Newton. That was not a Amazing defense but they played well because Cam kept them rested.
