Gamecock commit Joe Blue had several clutch plays.

Short TD Run, to gain back momentum in the 2nd half.

4th and 1 Conversion where he actually picked up 6 yards on the final drive.

NC's last drive pass deflection, to force NC into a final play of 69 yards (that didn't happen.)

All the Gamecocks showed out, we have some good guys coming in.

Nice exhibition by all the future Gamecocks! They showed they can be clutch in the waning moments, which USC has made a habit of showing in recent seasons as well....

Shaq's TD was nasty. An over the shoulder face with a DB on top of him.

Joe Blue is just clutch, when it was 4th and short, they called in the meat wagon. Blue just blew up Galliard from NC and ran right by him.

We were sitting in the VIP SC section with the parents of the players. Here are a few pics I took with my phone ...

With one second remaining, I thought it was over. But that kid from NC threw the ball 73 yards in the air from where he was standing, farther actually because he threw it from the middle of the field to the front corner of the left endzone - and could have very well beaten us with that throw.

Don't know here name, or who she was, but the ESPNU talent was strikingly beautiful in person. She was very nice talking to us as well - an incredible smile ... very athletic girl next door beauty ...

During halftime, Joe Blue's Mom and Brother were sitting behind us ... very nice. Joe's Mom is enthusiastic, to say the least. I almost needed ear plugs. She kept calling him (screaming) something, "knocker" I think it was. She told us it's been his nickname since he was a baby.
