Deke - Everybody is doing well and getting after it. There isn't an official 2 Deep right now.

Quarles - Benches the most on the team. Has worked hard in the offseason. They could be the best DL in the country, but they have to go out there and prove it. (I like that swagger but also being grounded in reality.)

Jamari Smith - Played DB as Soph and Jr and HS. Has had the INT in the scrimmage and a few pass breakups. He said he has to improve his techniques. He is playing behind Vic right now. Smith asked for the move to CB.

Robinson - Kicker position is wide open. Top candidtes are Fry StGermian Kelly, Hudgins(sp) and Ard, and nobody has separated.

Ward - Coop is still out. Jamari is learning on the run. UNC reminds Ward of missouri.

Brison has become a vocal leader on defense, making sure people line up. Vic gonna Vic (lol)
He doesn't think the defense has gel'd as the 11 guy unit. He says they have to keep building tempo.

Surrat - Feels healthy, he's been watching film about UNC and say they are a fast team and try to run a lot of plays. Playing with speed is one of the main goals in practice.
