Every school has a basket-weaving and history of thinking curriculum exclusive to athletes.
They also provide school nerds to help those guys understand 8th grade algebra.

hope it's a triple option coach.

I really wouldn't like to see a real coach recruit there.

If you are, as an example, a military academy, then by all means run the triple option. There is a decent chance Army goes 10-2 this year and there is no way they could do that if they just lined up and played regular football.

We know this because Army tried to go that route before and it lead to them losing oh my sweet Jesus number of games in a row to Arch-Rival Navy.

Unless we find ourselves in a prolonged Third World War we aren't going to see an Army team that can just line up and beat the hell out of people. They won't have the players to do it.

The thing is, Georgia Tech can, hypothetically speaking, get those players who can just line up and beat someone. They have a more recent national title then in state rival Georgia. They are squatting on top of one of the most fertile recruiting territories in the country. And they are one of the best schools in the nation.

They don't need to run the triple option to compete.

Granted, as an Army fan, I really hope they don't go for a triple option coach because if they do then you'd have to think Army HC Jeff Monken would be the first choice. Bad enough I have to sit through Arkansas being horrible, don't take away Army being successful too.
