What are the odds the Pennsylvanian will see some time this fall. I thought he played damn well in the spring game. Maybe even better than Thompson IMO. Seemed to be a very dynamic player, similar to Shaw.

I think the only way Nos sees the field this year is if there is an injury where Shaw or Thompson is out more than 1 game, or when we are beating a team senseless (like we did to UGA, Mizzou, UAB, ECU, or Kent last year.)
I like Nos a lot, he's a Parade All American, he set a bunch of PA records, he's a true dual threat and he has size and speed, and he's a winner.
I think he'll have a bigger role in '14, but I'm also sure Spurrier is going to put the QB out there that is best suited to win us the game. Who know's Nos could end up being the guy this year.

I think he'll get some mop up duty but not much else unless shaw or Thompson get injured. Seemed like he needed some work on the read option in terms of ball handling.

Yea we may see him in some mop up duty. That will be the tell. It is one thing to play fearless in practice when you can't be touched, but it's a different mindset when you realize there are 4-7 guys trying to rip your head off every play.
That being said i like the kid and think he will continue the tradition of brawlers we have had at QB the past few seasons.

As much mop-up duty as possible. Hopefully we'll be in the position to do that quite a few times this coming season.
Nosovitch has a lot of potential and is well respected among his teammates as the heir apparent a few years from now. But Connor Mitch is going to be a good one as well, should be interesting.
I like how our coaches have settled in to this philosophy of signing solid citizen QBs with sound fundamentals and a good head for the game. You can win ballgames with those sort of QBs. Not flashy, just solid. It's sort of the Nick Saban kind of QB, but in the mold that Spurrier prefers.
