That's kind of surprising, would've guessed you were a bit more conservative. I was baptized WELS, and later moved to LCMS. ELCA churches are a little out there for me.

I'm not happy with the ELCA right now ... not happy with any organized religion for that matter, as stated earlier. It's all gone crazy in the past fifty years or so.

My "religion" is within myself ... and it's mostly Gamecocks.

Athletes and athletics and athletic departments have more power to do good things than just about any religion these days. Hell, I even follow that Dali Llama on twitter and he gets it wrong half the time. His sentiment is genuine but he lives in an alternative reality away from the real world.

Athletics teaches life. Beat or be beaten. Choose any regiment you wish to attach yourself to ... but make sure you contribute towards eventually being the victor over everyone and every thing you endeavor against. Crush your enemies -- see them driven before you, and relish in the lamentations of their women. Then keep the most beautiful among them for yourselves because, as we all know, women really only want to breed with the best from the gene pool. They'll live with any cuck who provides them relative security and stability ... but they want to breed with those of us who are winners in modern gladiator arenas.

That's my religion. I've already lived my little bit ... I'm just an observer these days, still contributing to my unit so-to-speak.

As go the fortunes of our athletics ... so goes the fortunes of our school, our state, our region even. We have everything in our favor, all we need do is to keep taking advantage of our good fortune and make the most of what has been afforded us.

It's the same as religion, it really is.

Meh.

I’m going after Arkansas next. I legit can’t think of one redeeming quality.
That show Ozarks is Arkansas right? That fricking place looked miserable.

Atleast Missouri is relevant enough to have pro sports teams.

There are just a few pro teams mixed in with that list, you just have to look really hard, I think it's just the Saints, Falcons, and Panthers? Not completely sure.

Yea but the Ozarks are Mizzou, Arkansas and Kansas or some shite like that .
Literally the worst area of the country.

I’m waiting on approval on the A&M board.

Yeah it may dip into alittle of those other two states but it's mainly in Mo and Arky, and pretty much known by that.
