Nothing, I just ask because the Lutheran church in America is pretty divided between the ELCA on one side and everyone else on the other and that's a common question to get an idea of where someone is coming from. We're both still Lutheran but our experiences are going to be different.

ELCA is larger nationally and more liberal on most issues.
LCMS is smaller, concentrated in the Midwest, and more conservative.
I don't know of a comparable division within Baptist churches. The SBC and everyone else maybe? Not sure.
My Great Great Gradfather did that. There was a small Baptist community in Stockholm that got the shite end of the stick because Sweden had a Lutheran state church. He emigrated to America as a child in part because of it and switched to Lutheran when he married my Great Great Grandmother so the whole immigration thing was a complete waste of time.
