Say Baylor, Oregon, and Alabama all win this upcoming weekend. This would mean Oklahoma, Stanford, and LSU would all drop in the rankings. Gotta think USC would jump into Top 10 even on the bye week by default right?

IMO only the Baylor- Oklahoma and the Bama-LSU games should impact USC in the rankings. I expect #12 OU to lose, and that should drop them below USC. Also LSU is #10, so we could get as close as 11th if all goes to form, but that's it.
The Oregon-Stanford game is between two teams that are so highly-ranked, and they are playing versus highly-ranked opponents - that either one losing shouldn't drop them out of the top 10 IMO. All the other matchups between teams ranked above us would be pretty big upsets for them to lose, and that does happen often, but is unlikely...

quote:I think it depends on how bad the loss is. Stanford would have 2 losses, one to Utah and one at home to Oregon. Ours would be at Tennessee and at Georgia when they were ranked Top 10. Would have to think the Utah loss is worse than Tennessee and home to Oregon is same at at Georgia...it would be interesting
