Just how great is Shawn Elliott at recruiting OL?

I looked into it. Since Spurrier got here, but before Shawn Elliott (so 2005-2009), we've had 1 guy come in who was an All American (Army AA or Under Armour) OL (Garrett Anderson.)
Since Shawn's been here we now have 5 on the roster right now (Na"ty, Brock, Cann, Shell and Stanley). 2 more committed right now (Pellage and Clark) and 1 more possible if Bailey commits. We could go into next year with 7 on the roster if Bailey commits and Shell stays for his final year.
That's a pretty dramatic increase in the # of All American OL on the roster from the first half of Spurrier's tenure to the second half.

Hes great. Its not a coincidence that things started to turn around when he got here.
Glad we were able to keep him from going to Bama or the Steelers

Shawn is very loyal to us and he has a magnetic personality. He's a man's man ... hope that doesn't read strangely. No nonsense type that tells it like it is.
I've always imagined he is very good visiting homes and talking to Moms. Dads too. Most importantly the kids - they all seem to like him a lot.
He's now got a proven track record at the D1 level and, while it's taken him a little while to cultivate that, it's hard to deny that he is outstanding at developing players when he is presenting his bonefides.
