Didn't expect this when ATL let him go. Happy for him. I believe it's his 5th. Now ranked 9th all-time on the NFL sacks list, one ahead of LT.

Alshon got snubbed. Would've had him over Demaryius, Andre Johnson, and Marshall.

Alshon was 5th in my FFB league for points by a WR...how was he not in the Pro Bowl, that's bull shite.

Failcons gonna Failcon, should have never let Abraham go.

He's got one more good season left in him then he is going to retire. He wants to pass Michael Strahan and move into the Top 5. He only needs what, six or seven more to get to Jason Taylor and move to #6 on the all-time sacks list. Nine more to pass Strahan?

Sheesh, I remember scouting him at Timonsville. Time flies. Took him to Best Buy on Harbison for his first electronics shopping spree when he signed with his agent. Met him at Shooter's Choice when he turned 21 to help him decide on his first pistol ... a Baby Glock 26. Ended up buying it from him about eight years ago when he was home and we were shooting, then sold it to a friend of mine.

John is going to come home and be a regular around our program once he retires. He's not one of the guys that is going to live elsewhere, he is a pure South Carolina Gamecock to the bone. This is, always has been and always will be his home. Great guy.

Our greatest NFLer ever - agreed?

Guy is a beast! I remember playing his Whirlwinds that knocked us out of the playoffs that year, I was a freshman on varsity at the time but remember marveling at how big he was at the high school level. Hope he retires back to SC and helps a local high school program or even helps the athletic dept at USC.
