Watching the Giants vs Lions game, and a name getting said a lot today, Jerell Adams.
I think he can really have a nice career in the NFL. He's got tons of talent and very atheltic and in a very pass happy offense with a few damn good weapons (he looks like he will become one of them)
What better to have one of our own in one of the NFL's classiest organizations.
And seeing how it's happened in the past, wouldn't be surprised if he wins a Super Bowl down the line

When I went to watch our first practice when he arrived, I turned to my friend about halfway through and told him that guy is going to be 1st team SEC by next year. He was so gifted athletically and was making play after play out there back when we had a serious defense. It's mind boggling to me how he never really reached his potential while he was here. Maybe he'll find his place and flourish in the league.

He definitely never reached his full potential when he was here but his ultimate goal was making it to the NFL. When my wife was advising him in her office he pointed out her decorations and said how much he liked them. She told him they were from her NYC apartment when she was attending Columbia for her Masters Degree. When she asked what his plans were after he graduated he said he wanted to get drafted in the NFL. Funny how things have worked out for him. I wish him the best in his pro career.
