I think the SEC East comes down to our game in the Swamp, and I'm not too confident a/b us winning.
Getting UGA, A&M, and Mizzou at home is huge. Auburn is a likely loss. At least this year I don't see an obvious trap game like I saw last year w/ UT.
We are going to have trouble getting to the QB, and that trouble could compound itself by putting a whole lot of pressure on our young secondary. We need to score in bunches this season.

I honestly think we have a better team than USC this year, but playing at WB scares me. If we shite the bed like we did the last time we were there, then the East is USC's for the taking. This is assuming UF doesn't have a major bounce back year which is very likely.

I just don't see it. In much the same way that I was concerned a/b our game w/ UT last year, our biggest strength (OL) neutralizes y'alls biggest strength (DL). And on other fronts: Gurley is a better back than Davis, but I expect their stats to be roughly similar. WR's are a toss-up. The QB edge has to go to Thompson. We've closed the gap in LB talent sharply. And both our secondaries are going to have a steep learning curve.
When teams are as evenly matched as that, it comes down to home field advantage and coaching.
Now, you'll notice a lot of handwringing over the state of USC's DL this offseason (for good reason), but it's really more a/b the DEs. Our DTs should be plenty stout and we're very deep there.
