Miles is going to try to "walk-on" so-to-speak with a couple of different teams.

He got a UFA agreement with NYG. Now they are deep at RB, so I can't say 100% he'll be on the Reg Season Roster, but he'll have a shot. If he gets cut in camp, he can always get a workout for another team.

Akeem did not do himself any favors with the multiple injuries of course, but also he simply did not look good when he returned.

Agree 100%. He looked like another true DBU product early in his career with us, but couldn't stay healthy and then it was too late. Still really glad he helped us though and contributed what he did, but there was a lot of time off to come back from.

Not too sure what is up now. I now see articles saying Miles signed with the Redskins.

That's the one I was talking about ... and he feels good signing a FA deal with them. Spurrier made the call on his behalf and a lot of people seem to think he will make the roster up there, even if it is as a practice squad player for the first year or two.

Spurrier went way out on a limb for him and he was justified doing so IMHO. Miles is not gonna let him down.

Miles is a hard worker period. And I believe SS went the extra mile for him because he didn't transfer and stayed on to help the team. In return for his loyalty, SS stayed true to his promise of running him in college to get exposure and making a few favor calls IMHO. Ballcoach is awesome!
