Gamecocks beat Coastal 70-10

Wow. That was an arse beating. WIth Coastal being ranked so high in the FCS, t thought it was going to be close, and that there was no way we were going to cover the 34.5, but we did that with room to spare.

Things I liked:
Cooper is a playmaker. That TD reception was very athletic and his 70 yard TD run was very impressive. His acceleration is elite.

Jamari Smith earned his place at the table going into next year, and he's going to give the guys a fight for PT behind Davis. In 2 seasons, he could be the lead ball carrier.

The WR's as a group did a great job of getting open all day.

Dylan and Shaw both went 8-11.

Defense did great. Hampton had 3 PB's and 1 INT. The guys who don't play much, but played today really took this game seriously, and they came with a lot of fire.

I liked how we came out guns blazing and didn't take the foot off the gas. We were scoring about 21 a quarter.

I am surprised we didn't have more TFL's and Sacks though. Coastal's OL was a decent size, but they looked more fat than muscular.
