-- Davis became the eighth different player in school history to rush for 1,000 yards putting up 1,183 on the season. The total ranks fourth all-time for a single season in school history. George Rogers holds the two highest marks rushing for 1,894 in his 1980 Heisman Trophy-winning season. With his 49 rushing in the Capital One Bowl, he narrowly missed passing Marcus Lattimore’s 2010 total of 1,197 yards.
-- Davis rushed for at least 100 yards in seven games on the season. Only two other players have accomplished that feat being George Rogers, who rushed for at least 100 yards 12 times in 1980 and 10 times in 1979, and Duce Staley, who rushed 100 yards in seven games in 1996.

-- Davis finished the season with 11 rushing touchdowns, which is good for a tie for sixth in a single-season in school history. Jeff Grantz (1975) and Andrew Pinnock (2001) finished with 12. George Rogers had 14 in 1980. Watson (2000) and Lattimore (2012) had 11 for a tie for sixth all-time.
BRUCE ELLINGTON
-- Ellington went over the 1,000-yard mark for his career in the win over UCF earlier this season. He finished the season with 1,586 receiving yards over his three years.
-- With his 106 career catches, he is the 14th player in school history to hit that mark. If he has indeed played his last game, Ellington finished his career in 13th all-time in receptions ahead of Philip Logan’s 105 catches and just behind Ryan Brewer’s 107.
-- Ellington is eighth in school history with 16 career touchdown receptions. Philip Logan (1974-77) is ninth all-time with 15 career touchdown receptions. Sterling Sharp (1983-87) and Zola Davis (1995-98) are tied for sixth on the school touchdown receptions list with 17.

42 wins:
9+11+11+11
And the previous-best mark it surpassed was 38 wins not 41 (7+9+11+11)...
Still awesome though...
