He was a '15 class instate RB recruit. We offered but but AJ Turner and Mon Denson committed before he could and we didn't have anymore room at the position, so he went to unc. He's more like Mon than AJ. He played at unc last year but didn't RS or play much. So he's going to RS this year and have 3 to play 3 starting in '17.

He was a RB a lot like Mon Denson, powerback with decent speed. He ran an electronically timed 4.65 40 and 4.32 shuttle and had a 32 in vertical at a Nike SPARQ camp.

Here are his Sr highlights.

I remember watching this reel. he has good speed for his size. he has sure hands, they used him a bunch in a shotgun wildcat role. He can also catch the ball in stride. good acceleration, fairly fast even with pads. Does a good job of getting the ball to the outside shoulder, uses both/either hand to carry (don't laugh, some D1 recruit RB's don't do that.) He doesn't wait for the holes to develop, he just goes. That's probably why his YPC wasn't all that high for a 4* RB...although is Sr team was really terrible though, they only won 1 game. He also needs to keep his pads lower when he approaches/goes through the LOS. He did a good job of keeping 2 hands on the football when punching through the line though. The biggest thing he needs to work on is his pre-snap etiquette. he telegraphs his run with his body language. That might be b/c he's tired, but SEC LB's are going to pickup on that. After the play is called and before the snap, he'll lean one way or, "show with his shoulders," which way he's looking to go. That's really a timing thing on him, or it's just b/c he was tired. Either way, I picked up on it half way though his reel. That's the difference b/w a TFL and a gain in the SEC though.
