Did the specialized expensive oxygen system make that big of a difference for UGA?

If you watched the game or rewatch pay attention to the 2nd qtr. The UGA defense was exhausted . That was the only time the USC offense could move the ball. They marched straight down the field and Smart finally called timeout with about 7 minutes to go before half. I thought the Gamecocks had them then or at least would be able to keep it close. Watch the 2nd qtr and you'll see how affective USC was and how tired UGA was. I know they have tons of depth but it wasn't really needed because maybe because of the oxygen they came out after halftime fully recovered.

I guess what I'm getting at is why don't we have the same things for our players. We just always seem a step behind the big boys in upgrades and everything else. It would be nice if we were first for once
