Days like today just don't exist.

On a day where Georgia loses their 2nd SEC game to Vanderbilt(!) to open up the East, FIVE (5) top ten teams lose, including UCF beating Louisville, and Clemson gets embarrassed on national tv in their Super Bowl, USC has to go off and lose to Tennessee.
You couldn't have asked for a more perfect day as a Gamecock fan. Georgia and Clemson having embarrassing losses on the same day? We have a chance to get back in the East race? We have a chance to skyrocket to 6 or 7 in the BCS? And we lose?!
If we can't do something special with this team, a likely #1 draft pick, a senior QB, an experienced team with a HOF coach, and a schedule that set up fairly nice for us, can we ever do anything special?
This season was the season to take the next step but I think we actually went backwards. 11 win seasons with impressive bowl wins are amazing. But we had a chance to do more than that today. We could still win out (though I think we lose to Mizzou next week) and have basically the same type of season we've had the past two years but last year we lost to two top 5 teams, LSU and Florida. @LSU and @Florida in back to back weeks mind you.
But to get upset by Tennessee is not acceptable. We had a chance to go to the SECCG and, at the least, make it to the Sugar Bowl. As great as today was aside from the loss, I can't even enjoy it hardly. What's the point of laughing at UGA and Clemson fans?
Another thing, it makes me sick that it took us 18 years to make it to Atlanta, and Mizzou will be there in their 2nd year in the conference.
God was smiling on the Gamecocks today but we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. We could have taken a major step forward but took 2 steps back.

Another thing I just thought of, if we lose to Mizzou, we will most likely fall out of the top 25. That would end our ridiculous streak of weeks being ranked.

I will say I was shocked to see UT win. Honestly after last week I thought UT would have been an afterthought

I love how everyone is regurgitating what I've been saying for weeks now. Except I got ostracized and you get kudos. Yeah we shite it up real good. We reached under the sheets grabbed a handful of that nice smelly shite and stuffer our pillows with it.
I guess the bright spot of the season will be beating Clemson.

Winning out would more than likely land us in ATL the first weekend of December.

With the effort they put forth in recruiting , and the lack thereof on our side, things can change quick. This was an absolute disastrous effort and loss. I dont agree that this was just a ho-hum upset.

We could've moved up 4-5 spots, this loss sucks even more than the uga loss. We'd be in the BCSCG hunt.
